Education

I am currently a resident physician at MetroHealth Hospital. My degrees include: D.O., B.A., B.S., A.A., A.S. I am a graduate from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to medical school, I graduated from Lake Erie College, where I was a valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude recipient. I also began college at the age of 13, graduating with both my associates at 16 and both my bachelors by 19.

Experience

Education has always been a huge priority in my life. Being born in India and then traveling to over 10 countries before settling in the United States, I learned the importance of academics and its ability to connect individuals through continents. Had it not been for my mother's PhD, I would not have afforded the many opportunities that came my way. After arriving in the United States, I became enraptured by the culture and excelled in school. At the age of 13, I began taking college courses at Lakeland Community College, graduating as a Valedictorian and Dean's Award recipient at the age of 16. It was at this time I also received my Associates of Arts and Science. At the age of 19, I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Lake Erie College, where I obtained my Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors of Science. My majors included Biology, with a concentration in Pre-Med, and Political Science, with a concentration in Pre-Law. I minored in English, Math, and Chemistry. In 2016, I was accepted to medical school at Ohio University. I have a deep passion for tutoring and helping individuals reach their potential. Due to this, I continued tutoring throughout medical school and am very involved in my students' academic careers. For me, teaching transcends a profession. I have seen the pride in my students' eyes at excelling a subject they initially thought was impossible. Having taught for over 8 years in a variety of settings including home-schooling, private schools, two universities, and other academic centers, I am well aware of numerous strategies to help individuals reach their educational goals.
